exit prompt

Based on the subject. I am using Informix-4gl version 7.x on Solaris 2.5. I manuals say that the exit prompt statement command exists but when I try to use it within an on key (ESC, RETURN) block it gives me a grammatical error during compilation. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
