Strange results with onbar

Testing onbar with Informix 7.24, ADSM v3.
onbar -b -w -L 0 backed up system in dbspace order (rootdbs, physdbs, logdbs
....)BUT
onbar -r -w restored rootdbs and then the remaining spaces in ALPHABETICALorder of dbspace name.
Everything restored okay (as best I can tell -- SAP still works), but I am
concerned when I move to production and have 3+ tapes in a single backup.
Apparently, the onbar caused ADSM to skip around on the tape backup and, if
this is so, then a full production restore could have serious performance
issues with tape mounts/dismounts.
Anyone else noticed this phenomenon and found a workaround??

Additional Info:
The ixbar.0 file contained the dbspaces listed twice (duplicate. rows), once
in physical order and once in alphabetical order.
