dbexport, dbschema do not keep chunk, blob info. Bug? Feature?

Fellow Informix'ers, dbexport and dbschema do not keep the table space information for tables, nor the extent information. We have tables that go to a table space different from rootdbs. So if we dbexport, and then a dbimport, the tables get imported to a wrong table space. Is this a bug or a feature? One of the tables has blob columns. This info however, is retained by the utilities. Any and all responses on this amtter appreciated.
