problem with [] --> {}
Hello !
On some hosts I had a problem by creating a database with
create database xyz
on an INFORMIX OnLine Dynam..... 7.21 .
The error message was:
667: Variable(v_tabauth{1}) not declared.
This variable is declared in cnv50t60.sql ($INFORMIXDIR/etc/) and used
in cnv50t60.sql with
...
if v_tabauth[1] = 's' or v_tabauth[1] = 'S' then
...
So I thought "[" was misinterpreted with "{" , witch is a language
problem.
I exported LANG=C or LANG=De_DE.88591 witch are standard and the problem
was solved (I thought so).
Now we have this error 667 again, and even setting LANG doesn't help.
Is there anyone who now this problem and it's solution?
