AW: Viewing BTree 'onstat -C' info via sysmaster
Posted in 2010
Topics: Server Administration
Hi,
I don't have any experience with BTS on secondary instances.
But instead of bouncing the engine, have you tried to stop/start the BT-
Scanner only (onmode -C stop <#number_of_bts_threads>, onmode -C start <#>)
Regards
Andreas

Hello, thank you for your quick reply.
Yes we have tried that.
After change a database from secondary to primary, 'onstat -C' shows zero
activity forever etc.
If you run 'onmode -C stop' and then 'onmode -C start', the figures on onstat
-C start incrementing.
So it does look like the BTree Scanners are not being kicked into life once
the servers mode is changed to primary.
Where can I see 'onstat -C' in sysmaster?
Thanks for your time, Andy.
