Security issue

Hi, We are using ids9.4. We are having security issue, where we have some users accessing databases thru odbc. The role function can't handle this part of users. How can we apply some kind of security mechanism on group basis to eliminate the exposure of our database to these users? Thanks for your feedback. Simon
