ISAM error number 117. ISAM error: bad custom collating sequence.

Hi all! I've been working with 4GL RDS 4.10 as a networked client for Online 7.10 for a couple of years with no problems but some minor bugs in the DB engine. As the databses grow, Online 7.10 is giving me more trouble so I downloaded Online 7.22 (it's the latest available for SCO OS 5) and started to experiment. Unfortunatly, I started to get random error messages when the 4GL programs (or isql, by the way) try to connect to the new server. The message is: Program stopped at "program.4gl", line number 0. SQL statement error number -908. Attempt to connect to remote system failed. ISAM error number 117. ISAM error: bad custom collating sequence." This error appears half the times I run a program. The other half times it works OK. Finderr says I should contact Informix but they probably will tell me to upgrade 4GL, witch I can't do because our clients would have to do it too (we have some clients happily running SE 4.10 and don't wish to upgrade).
