INFORMIX/Perl interface sought

There are many people that I know of who are also looking for this... I'm looking for an interface to the 'perl' language that will use and access INFORMIX routines and databases. This is typically referred to as 'infoperl', although it hasn't been seen or posted to the net. There is one company I know that has this, however, of course, it is proprietary. I, and others, have posted to comp.lang.perl about this several times with no luck, so I figured this to be the appropriate place to try next.
