Publicly. > Privately. However you wish. My email address is valid.) That's pretty accurate as a summary - I read c.d.i via a news reader, not an email program. Only exceptionally do I treat a spam-block email address any differently from a regular email address -- that exception is when I might make a private comment but don't. If someone sends me an email - not a news group posting but an email direct to me - and I have to edit the return address, I don't send the reply. If someone is rude enough to do that, I silently ignore their rudeness. I've had it happen maybe 3 times in the last decade; it is not a big problem to me. Clearly, I should not have even mentioned the possibility - I'm sorry. I'm sorry I ruffled feathers by my comments. Mostly, I was trying to explain a non-obvious part of the mechanics of this news group. -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2003.04 -- http://dbi.perl.org/
