Re: Re: Crash course for an Oracle DBA
Not really a technical problem thread: an Oracle DBA asked for a quick introduction to Informix, and respondents simply pointed to learning resources — the Informix manuals mirrored at docs.rinet.ru/InforSmes/ and the oninit.com site (notably its DBWeb section with an onstat reference). The thread then drifts off-topic into an IBM promotion (3-for-2 on IDS V10 new/trade-up licences, valid to 23 March 2007); when someone asked for a URL for the offer, another poster supplied an IBM 'winback' page link. No further technical resolution is recorded.

your welcome Tony, good luck
When you've had a chance to hunt 'n peck through
http://docs.rinet.ru/InforSmes/ you might also be interested in taking a
look at http://www.oninit.com/
Choose DBWeb from the left margin menu, then choose onstat reference from
the DBWeb menu .... or just wander around, it's a useful site.
