ONBAR backup with only 1 tape drive.

Hi all I have 1 tape drive (super DLT) that is to be dedicated to informix backups. Can I do log backups to the tape during the day and at night turn off the log backups and then to a level 0 to the same tape ? Will informix be ok with this or will have issues finding the level 0 when it trys to to a restore ? thanks
