Dynamic SQL generation for Informix

Any help is greatly appreciated. Scenario: I have CLI program (command line interface program) that translates what the end-user types: for eg. total revenue > 100000. The program build a tree using LEX and YACC utilities of UNIX as shown below: AND / \\ IN GT /\\ / \\ / \\ totrev \\ public ctype 100000 => find all companies WHERE ctype = 'PUBLIC' AND totrev GT 100000; My program would receive as input, a tree as shown above and I need to decode this tree and BUILD THE APPROPRIATE SQL ie. dynamic SQL Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks Ashi
