Performance with OnLine DSA

We have recently moved from SE to OnLine and although performance has generally increased, we have seen a big drop in Stored Procedure performance. I mean 20 minutes to retrieve 5000 records from a 40,000 record table. Informix tells me that since we develop on a single processor box RS/6000 340 that DSA was not designed for this and we need multiple processors. We are looking to roll this out on a J30 dual processor. Has anyone seen or experience such performance problems? Does anyone run stored procedures on a dual processor config? Tim Porreca
