Yeah, I have to agree. However, if we look at the stock price in 90, it was around 2. (A new low :-) Since then, it had gone up and split several times. So they must have done something right. Obviously marketing wasn't one of them. However, they are under new management so I'd like to give them the bennifit of the doubt before I start my Oracle training ;-) I will have to say that a lot of customers are jaded and that *bad* impressions tend to last longer than good impressions. Having Informix marketing come around and try to butter up customers and make promises won't cut it. It doesn't help to have Bob F. making statements like he did in news.com today either. He could have phrased things better. There are things that Informix can do, without spending megabucks on huge glitzy ad campaigns, which will be more effective. (Sorry Informix, TANSTAAFL!) Just another frustrated brick in the wall! -Uncle Mikey
