Hiya, I had the same problem when installing Informix SQL Development 7.32.UC3 in the same directory as IDS 9.40.UC6 on AIX. This problem is due to a bug in 9.40.UC6 (Thank you support!) and what you have to do is the following: 1. Enter as informix 2. cd $INFORMIXDIR 3. cpio -icvdumB Message.cpi < <INSTALL_FILES_PATH>/SERVER/IIF.cpi 4. cpio -icvdumB < Message.cpi This will subsitute the message files in $INFORMIXDIR/msg with the correct ones. -- Rob Message posted via http://www.dbmonster.com
