Comparison of Database Vendors Reporting Tools

Hello: I need some information on various pros and cons of query and reporting tools offered by Informix, Oracle, Sybase (PowerSoft) and Progress. I have been chartered with evaluating the reporting and query segments of application development suites, and am wondering if anyone who has performed similar comparisons could help. The user platform requirements are mostly MS Windows based, with a smattering of character based and Unix thrown in. Please feel free to either post to the newsgroup or to send information to lhebert@bridgeconsult.com. If others are interested, also, I will send email summaries to those that request them. Thanks.
