SqlSetLongBindDatatype - Watch this space

We are having fun with an (almost) undocumented function of Gupta SQL Windows called SetLongBindDatatype. It's reason for being is to allow the SQLWindows/Informix router (ours is version 2.2.0) to bind variables to TEXT and BYTE type columns. The function only takes two numeric fields, the first being the ordinal number of the bind variable and the second being the type. The trouble is that I can't find out how one would deal with multiple SQL handles, multiple BLOB fields within a single SQL statement and/or how it would cope with different types of SQL statements being executed via a single handle. I've asked the local SQL Windows dealer for assistance and they tell me we should have answers "real soon now". If anybody has hit this problem before, could we have a hint please. Otherwise I let you know what we find out. Regards All, Len. P.S. If this was easy then we would not be so well paid. :-)
