I am using the Web DataBlade module with Informix OnLine 7.2 on a Sparc 20 with Solaris 2.6. My question is can you use Web DataBlade without transaction logging. We have a very large database which does not necessitate constant transaction logging. We desire to keep transaction logging turned off, but I am told that transaction logging must be turned on in order to use the Web DataBlade module. Is there any work-around for this? I tried setting up transaction logging with the tape device set to null, but then we get long transaction errors when trying to delete records. If this is a dumb question and we have horrible database settings, please forgive me for my incompetence. As I have mentioned once before, I am very new to all of this.
