Dear Tony,
You should have no problems if your resources are not posing you any
problems. In our development labs, all of our Unix servers run up to 4
or 5 databases next to each other.
Of course, we use a decent technology in order to get Client/Server
access to these data services: with SequeLink you need just one server
in order to connect to both (or more) of these databases
*simultaneously*; add a SequeLink client on the same machine (perfectly
possible) or another Client, and you can exchange data between the 2
databases without a hassle. Check out
http://www.techgnosis.com/techgnosis/ if you want to know more, or send
me a mail.
Kind regards,
