Grettings!! I have recently installed Excalibur Text Search Datablade 1.31 on Hp-UX 11.23 with Informix 11.50.FC7 I want to do some probes, I registered my datablade on my database and when I wanted to create the ETX index on a TEXT column, I got the following: 610 Index not allowed on TEXT or BYTE columns I realized that TEXT data type is not supported to build an ETX index on it. My question is if there is a way to build a ETX index using TEXT data type column though the excalibur user's guide told me only 7 data types are supported, less TEXT. Overall I want to know which operator class I could use to build an ETX index. thanks for your attention.
