noentry field in ISQL FORMS... a question

I have an ISQL FORM and I want the fields that are not intended for entry to be skipped over when tabbing through the form. They are not look-up fields, but are retrieved as they are in the same table as the fields that may be entered to query. I've set the attributes as noentry, noupdate but the cursor still goes there. what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Kate
