Getting Color in 4GL

Briefly, I am having a problem getting my 4GL application to honor any color attributes. I run the application from my PC, talking to a SUN server via FTP's PC/TCP version 2.30. I've installed the color VT220 termcap that some kind soul published here recently, and I have a colornames file in both $INFORMIXDIR/incl and the directory where the application runs on the SUN. It seems that the only colors that I can get are the default colors set up in the PC/TCP software. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Anyone tried to access a 4GL application via PC/TCP? Any hints or solutions?
