Re: Communication between servers and Informix 5 and 7
Do I need to do this via a program (E/SQL,4GL...etc.) or can I do this
from dbaccess/isql? Also, my orginal posting had a typo in my syntax. I
had the database and dbservername var mixed. So it should have read:
select * from <data_base>@<hostname>:<table_name>
When I state hostname this is the hostname of the UNIX machine, should I
be using the server name of the informix configuration as defined in the
config and sqlhosts file?
I keep getting an 908 error.
