'non-working' triggers

FYI, Turns out that the user in question was using the trigger to dump the data into a table for later retrieval - the retrieving process then sorted the data based on a datetime YEAR TO SECOND. Worked fine for most applications until we ran into one which was invoking the trigger about 5 times/second - don't ask. So the sort didn't exactly get them in the right order..... In other words the triggers worked fine.
