I really does work, even in my environment of 7.30UC3 server and 4GL 4.11/SE+NET 5.10 client. You need the 7.30 Relay Module and the GLS subdirectories on the client. I added the environment variables COLLCHAR=1 and DBNLS=2 to the little script, that solved my problem with using NCHAR/NVARCHAR on the server (see my posting "dbaccess5 crashes against IDS 7.30 with GLS/NCHAR").
