If it is libc6, then you need the libc6 version of SE, also marked as the RedHat 5.1 version. > It runs! but the sqlexec will never work. wenn i run 'isql' Hold on; where'd'ya get isql? I don't think that's available yet, is it? If it's the SCO version, all bets are off. If you mean DB-Access, then it's another matter. > i get the error '408: Invalid message from type received form the > sqlexec process.' an when i start the only the > sqlexec program, i get the error: 'Segmentation fault' OK, so sqlexec doesn't run. That's bad. We need to establish which version of SE you are running, and we need to establish whether you're using a libc6 system. I've not seen the problem; that doesn't mean it isn't real. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
