We use Replicate1 and are quite pleased. I helped them work out many performance issues as well as enabling the ability to capture ER transactions that are applied to a server. They have been great to work with and their support, when needed albeit infrequent, is very responsive. They officially only support IDS 9.4 but we're using it on 10 without issues. http://www.visionsolutions.com/Products/Systems-Data-Management-replicate1.aspx ----- Original Message ---- From: bozon <curtis@crowson1.com> To: informix-list@iiug.org Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 9:10:28 AM Subject: Re: GoldenGate? IBM was trying to work with them using a web sphere product. _______________________________________________ Informix-list mailing list Informix-list@iiug.org http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list

The thing is, this potential customer doesn't want to buy new stuff, they want the chosen database to integrate as much as possible with what they already have. And unfortunately this often doesn't apply to IDS these days. cheers Neil
