Re: "IDS 10.0 Cities Tour 2006"

Despite the subject line about the IDS 10.0 Cities Tour, this branch of the thread contains no technical content at all. It is pure off-topic banter among regulars, starting from a jibe about showing off (languages, BMWs) and drifting into jokes about the original Mini, whether it was built by Morris or British Leyland, and puns about being conceived in one and "SMART" cars. No Informix problem is raised and nothing is resolved; skip it unless you want the social chatter.

It is now, but the original Mini was from the much more "chi-chi" company called British Leyland, purveyors of such fine cars as the Austin Allegro and the Morris Marina. -- Bye now, Obnoxio "C'est pas parce qu'on n'a rien ' dire qu'il faut fermer sa gueule" - Coluche did i mention i like nulls? heck, i even go so far as to say that all columns in a table except the primary key could/should be nullable. this has certain advantages, for example, if you need to insert a child record and you don't have a parent row for it, just do an insert into the parent table with the primary key value (everything else null), and voila, relational integrity is preserved. but this is, admittedly, a bit controversial among modellers. --r937, dbforums.com

Actually the original mini was made by one of the companies merged together to form British leyland - Morris I think.
