Does anyone know how to identify and/or stop someone trying to break a users password in an Informix client/server environment (Using Informix Net, informix online 5.0, AIX 3.5.1). As far as I've been able to tell these bad password logon attempts are logged nowhere (within AIX or Informix). I'd like to be able to disable a UserID or port after a certain number of attacks but currently I can't even identify if an attack has occurred. Any info appreciated, Ed.
