I am running IDS 9.3 on Windows NT (first mistake).
I want to back up my database using onunload, but since it asks you to mount
the tape and press RETURN, I am not sure how to schedule this to have it run
automatically. Is there a way to buypass pressing ENTER?
Yes.

my method works.
You need to make 2 files .bat file + yes file, look into the attach =

Cut and paste this into a bat file. You have to set your environment
variables when using this in a scheduled task in NT. Make sure you change
the settings to match your environment and change the -s size as well. Make
sure it is big enough to contain your entire database. Onunloads are
usually bigger than a Level 0 backup.
If you have multiple database to onunload at the same time let me know. I
have a script that does as well.
