Solaris projects and Informix

Is anyone out there familiar with projects on Solaris 10 and how they work with IDS 11.50 FC3? I set up a project for user informix with the parameters, including memory usage, that I wanted. I then stopped and started the informix instance. When restarting the informix instance, does it automatically look at projects and see that informix can now use more memory rather than the default 25%? thanks
Informix always looks to its onconfig file for how much memory it can use. Since your making more memory available to it, you can add buffers, locks, etc. in the onconfig to take avantage. --EEM > -----Original Message----- > From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of LARRY > SORENSEN > Sent: Monday, June 08, 2009 3:14 PM > To: ids@iiug.org > Subject: Solaris projects and Informix [15971] > > Is anyone out there familiar with projects on Solaris 10 and how they work > with IDS 11.50 FC3?
