The 4Js compiler is an excellent product which produces a very reasonable facsimile of a GUI. The problem is that you still develop under 4GL, which means that you have no real control of the presentation layer. I also feel that 4Js is a little expensive. You might also consider Querix which offers a similar solution to 4Js's at a much lower price or SuperNova I4GL Extender, which allows you to actually change the presentation layer to a complete GUI with widgets and icons. All three have downloads available on their web sites. http://www.4js.com http://www.querix.co.uk http://www.supernova.com Or you can just wait for the new Informix Dynamic 4GL. :-) HTH. -- Ciao, Billy /Group Managing Director, The West Solutions Group: http://www.west.co.za \\ Drivel @ http://www.west.co.za/tasteless/ / \\ "Granted, Mr Wheeler's ideas are stupid and unreasonable, but he does own the company and I / think we should go along with him..." \\________________________________________________________________________________________________
