INFORMIX 4GL PROBLEM

Hi Family, Thanks to all who has send their valuable suggetion.. But still my problem is exist.. In my shell variable I have define it as RMTTBL=aaa@ccusss:tblnm. After that I had called up this variable by let STORRT = fgl_getenv("RMTTBL") & after that I had tried to make query select x,y,z from STORRT ( Here it is showing error. It isshowing storrt table not found & it comes out from the prg.. I had checked environment variable by env command.. It is showing RMTTBL.. I did not making query by construct & my informix 4gl version is just 4.10.. Would it be main cause for it ??? Pls help me.. Sandip ***************************************************************** Hi Family, I am facing a problem in INFORMIX 4 GL programme.. I have made a programme which is accessed 4 database.. All 3 database is accessed by their 3 different sqlexeced damon. It is running fine.. But if I want to run that same programme another location of our country then I have to change the dbserver name.. Like in our location sql script is.. select x,y,z from aaa@ccusss But our different location is holding different dbserver name.. Like Bangalore's machine dbserver name is blrsss, Bombay machine dbserver name is bomsss.. So my query is how I can define this dbserver name in any environment variable.. Otherwise I have to compile it different times with different dbserver name. Regards Sandip Samanta
