THanks!!! Hello Doug, we have several developers too and one sqexplain.out file if we use "SET EXPLAIN ON" in one directory. But we start our 4GL RDS interpreter with our 4gi - File in a different directory. For example: fglgo ../4gl/example.4gi. Now, the sqexplain.out file are in this directory and only one user writes to the file. I hope I help you Uwe
