Can you post a couple of files for interrogation:- /tmp/bar_act.log ( or at least the bit regarding the problem ) $INFORMIXDIR/etc/ixbar.<server_no>. How are you backing up ? onbar -b -w ? How are you restoring ? onbar -r -w ? Have you tried a physical restore only ? Is it a problem with the logical restore ? Maybe it can't find a logical log that it backed up ? Are you using onbar to backup the logical logs ? You need to tell us more...
