Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Glauber,
The SET ISOLATION statement is documented in the Informix Guide to SQL:Reference,
versions 4.1 and 5.0. It is also documented in the Informix Guide to SQL:Syntax
in version 6.0. The other options (besides DIRTY READ) are COMMITTED READ,
CURSOR STABILITY, and REPEATABLE READ.
Dirty Read provides no isolation and is appropriate for static tables that are
used for queries. This is the only isolation level available to databases that
do not have transactions.
Hope this helps,
Sally Cox
