how can we learn our db's indexing mechanism, L1 or L2?

hi all, we are using Informix 7.31 FD5 under Baan IV and HP-UX and wonder if our = Informix db is using a L1 or L2 index structure for locating to rows. how can we learn it in our current system?(the level of it; L1 or L2) Regards, Serdar Can
