You need the HOWTO and/or FAQ in mentioned above. %I make an environment variable %INFORMIXDIR=/usr/local/informix % %I tar -xvf ESQL_C.TAR (into the /usr/local/informix dir) % %then I run % %the install script % %it craps out with 32766 % %I remove the contents of the directory and start with SE.TAR, run install %script, and it craps out as well with 32766 % %any ideas?
