Informix <--> MS Access Router????

I am posting this for one of the programmers here so please if this is a stupid question flame me once and save the band width. The programmer says: I have heard that there is a "router" (quotes are mine) to connect Informix and Microsoft Access. I said: What is it that you REALLY (shouting intended) want to do? The programmer says: I just want to connect the two applications and tranfer data! Now dear reader you know at least as much as I about the question, knowing Informix you probably know more than I.
