Upgrade HP-UX 8.07->9.04

We too have upgraded an HP9000/897 to HPUX 9.04 and are experiencing a problem. When I spoke with Informix they informed me that there is a new release of the software which is a port to UX 9.04. This is OnLine 5.02.UC1. There is also a new release of I-Star, I-SQL, ESQL and 4GL specifically for 9.04. If you are on a maintenance contract you can get a free upgrade. Just call Customer Support. When I receive this upgrade and install it, hopefully our problem goes away. By the way, we are experiencing a different problem than you describe so I don't know if this upgrade will fix your problem.
