Which user has }created the tables ? By default, there is no user dba. The default dba }user is usually informix. In ANSI databases there is an important }difference concerning table names compared to Non-ANSI databases. A }table is uniquely identified only by user.tablename. The name of the }table is not enough. I hopy my hint points to the right direction. I don't quite underestand what you are saying here. When I create a = database or table, I will be the owner of the database or table, both me = & Informix have the dba priviledges.
