IDS 7.30.UC7 on HP-UX 10.20 ignores RESIDENT settings

We are starting to build a GIS system and have hit a snag ever since we upgraded to Map3.0. we can connect to the database using ODBC, but the Jet link up fails and prevents us from generating links (ASI configuration error). Has anybody done this successfully.... Thanks, Paul
