IX 9.x /Blob space , connect error ...

Hello, The informix server is on HP-UX.... The error I get from log file is :- 18:47:17 CDR connection to server lost, id 6, name <grp_gms> Reason: ASF connect error (7) Any reason why this happens in Informix 9.x ? What does it indicate and whats the solution ? Thanks in Advance.

It means that the network connection was not successful. We'd have to have 1) the error number before proceeding.
