The best way I can think of is to write a SQL script that extracts the data from the columns you want into an ASCII file or a pipe and then take that data into Oracle or Access. Most of these could be automated by cron. This is not true export/import as defined by either Informix or Oracle because the data is going across a heterogeneous database environment, but should work. You may also find some third party tools (or even gateways from Informix and Oracle) that can provide more features, but the above is probably the most inexpensive method. Arun
