That class hierarchy tree in the online help is a gem, straight off. I showed it to one of the people I work with and he practically salivated all over my screen. every time I go into it, I find what I need to know. Haven't had a chance to look at Delphi yet (only interested really if I can get it to talk to a *real* DB engine) but I've been using Progress for the last 6 months. Their Windows online manuals are excellent (type any word, highlight it, hit F1 and get a list of references) but I can't find anything like that hierarchy diagram with all the attributes and methods at your fingertips. (probably because Progress isn't really OO, but that's another thread). Peter Wiley (back from 3 weeks field work, with approx. 1E6 messages to read)
