I would be :grateful for any help that could be offered. I'm running 4gl version :6.02.UC1 (P-Code 602) with Online 7.10.UD1 on an ICL TeamServer running :UnixWare. We also get this error when we run a program. The finderr explanation is simply wrong or incomplete (i haven't ever seen it while compiling). It's related to the 4gl version (not the engine). We compile to executables (no P-code), but we get this situation when compiling exactly the same sourcecode with different versions running against the same database (OnLine 7.10.UC1 on SCO 3.2.4.2) with the same data: 4.10.UC3 - no error (running via sqlrm) 6.00.UE3 - 4339 error occurs consistently 6.03.UC1 - no error We don't have 6.02 so I can't test that (we do have 6.01.UD1 but I can't test that either due to too grave other bugs in the compiler). It seems like you have to upgrade your 4GL compiler to 6.03 or later. Nils.Myklebust@ccmail.telemax.no NM Data AS, P.O.Box 9090 Gronland, N-0133 Oslo, Norway My opinions are those of my company
