If you're having speed problems, drop me a line with details. As I put in my reply to the original posting to which you replied, speed is sometimes a function of the application. For example, SQL-Gold that we supply as a test app is not meant to handle huge amounts of data, the speed can depend on your table structure (e.g. indexed or not), e.g. MSAccess is much better at handling large results sets, and e.g. some of the VB grid controls have limits on the number of rows they can hold (but usually way above 3,000!).
