The 4GL code uses the arrow keys for both within and between field movement, therefore you cannot separate the two functions. Having some ACCEPT key other than the function key lead in (ESC for VT and ANSI) is a good move as it removes the 1 second delay built into Informix products. However, another function key is just as good because the follow on characters after ESC remove the delay problem.
