We have a new client who has just thrown out their Oracle system in favour of our Informix solution :-) I had a brief conversation today with them about Oracle "Events". They sound something like Triggers & Stored Procedures, but seem to be able to be user-defined in an ad-hoc manner. Anybody know anything more? --------------------------------------,------------------------------------- Kerry Sainsbury, kerry@kcbbs.gen.nz | THE INFORMIX FAQ Quanta Systems, Auckland, New Zealand | kcbbs.gen.nz:/informix/* | mathcs.emory.edu:/pub/informix/faq/* +64 9 377-4473 (work) 276-5546 (home) | quasar.ucar.edu:/?
