You don't say what engine you are using. I suspect SE (Unless you are
using C-ISAM!) in which case locks are held in the UNIX lock table, and
the default size of 400 is *too* small! On SVR4 the command 'sar -v'
will display it (at the end of the line) and give you a better idea. If
this is the problem you need to get the kernal rebuilt with more locks.
There may also be a problem with 'lost locks' - UNIX locks which were
held by a processes which crashed leaving them unavailable. The only
solution to this one is to reboot the UNIX box.
